Install

Six steps, about ten minutes if Assetto Corsa is already installed. Everything is free except the game.

1. Assetto Corsa (PC)

   The original game by Kunos Simulazioni, on PC, bought on Steam. Mods cannot be installed on consoles (PlayStation, Xbox) nor in Assetto Corsa Competizione or EVO.

2. Content Manager

   The launcher the whole community uses: it manages tracks, cars and the graphics patch. The free Lite version is enough.

   Download it from acstuff.club/app, unzip it anywhere, run Content Manager.exe and point it to your Assetto Corsa folder when asked.

3. Custom Shaders Patch

   Required: without CSP the track has no 3D trees and no night lighting. In Content Manager: Settings → Custom Shaders Patch, then install the latest version offered.

   Minimum version for the RD41: 0.2.11 to be confirmed

4. Pure (optional)

   Pure is a weather and lighting mod for CSP. It is not needed to drive the RD41. to be confirmed: the setup used to tune the track will be stated at release.

5. Install the track

   Download reunion_rd41_la_montagne.zip from the track page (≈ 1.54 GB).

   With Content Manager: drag the zip into the Content Manager window, then confirm. to be confirmed tested on the final zip before release.

   By hand: unzip and copy the reunion_rd41_la_montagne folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks/ (game folder; in Steam: right-click Assetto Corsa → Manage → Browse local files).

   The track file is over 2 GB once unzipped: make sure you have the disk space.

6. Drive

   In Content Manager: Drive → Quick race (or Practice), pick the track “RD41 La Montagne – Montée”, a car, and go. The first load takes a little while.
